In this latest interview on TNT Radio with host Hrvoje Moric, we explore the battle between the new age of creative micro cultures and the once-dominant world of macro culture. With a growing army of independent creators, artists and alternative media platforms, this rapidly expanding movement is now seriously breaking the once iron-clad rules of major media-dominated macro culture by the likes of a Disney, Amazon Prime, Netflix and the vast entertainment industrial complex which most of us thought was forever.
Opening with a discussion of the popular world of dystopian sci-fi and its priming of the modern imagination, we diagnose the latest subversive big-budget cultural trends used to demoralize the population with constant rehearsals of doomsday scenarios and post-apocalyptic “fictional events.” Against this backdrop, we conclude by discussing the alternative, increasingly lead by a creative minority of independent content creators, artists and alterative media who are paving the way towards a genuine rebirth of creativity, timeless wisdom and the elaboration of Western civilizations greatest traditions into our current age.
