This was in contrast with the thick mobilization of the decolonization and early postcolonial periods on materialist terms (land, poverty, disease, illiteracy, industrialization).”
This drug-induced coma of mysticism seems to be setting us up for the Inquisition. or a military dictator.
Huxley was prescient in perceiving the clever imitation of what life is as one observes the social agenda of today.
A (faked )diversity as an attribute of humanity to apply for employment for the GCHQ secret spy agency of England who purpose is to interfere with the truth in the internet, to spread the one narrative if the State.

Great Article. Prayer and meditation can be a divine experience, but with clarity. And the psychedelics are attempting to enter in not through the sheep gate but attempting to get in some other way. Or perhaps being the guest at the wedding banquet dressed as a slob, subsequently getting kicked out. The phrase unearned wisdom always rears its head. Matthew 7:17-20" I think a bad tree planted in a transcendent state of being, is going to produce some wonky fruit.. which is why Joe Rogan promoting spiritual state experience drugs to many bad trees is gonna produce a lot of bad fruit... mystical bad fruit. If one who knows nothing of the spiritual battle is thrust into the spirit realm they are sure to be manipulated by any whim or fancy of self or other entity there (exactly like huxley and satanic co.). Their house is one built on sand. It will benefit all those who desire transcendence to follow the way of Jesus Christ, the solid foundation. You will be surprised at the overflowing blessings, the good tree produces good fruits. The One Way, all know this is true intrinsically within the self, the archetype of Divine Perfection, that which you know you should be, but are not. If you pursue it truly you will know the truth undeniably. There is no argument for one such as this.
Thanks for the excellent article! There is indeed much advertisement for eastern mysticism and the occult. And in fact these are helpful for coping with less material wealth and less freedom. For example I enjoyed an introduction to Tarot reading. Tarot cards are symbols, and considering random symbols as an answer to a question opens new viewpoints. I find Tarot reading helpful for a better understanding of reality and for expanding the range of actions to consider.
I note you list Albert Einstein as someone who reached his full potential. That's surprising. What is his inclusion based on?
The deeper we get into the spiritual and immaterial realm, the more nuanced and elusive things become. Seemingly similar paths can lead down very different destinations. This is where I think the question of a sound metaphysics comes in. For instance, for Huxley et al, one of the reasons they speak of "scientific paganism" is because it harkens back to a pre-classical Greek notion of the soul i.e. there is no unitary soul. For the pre-classical Greeks, there is no unitary conception of the soul; there are "many things." And this is where it gets tricky. The idea of the unitary soul is a very important and key concept in the development of Western civilization. The bio-machine Sam Harris-style gurus and self-actualization stuff tends to reject the notion of a unitary soul, or to obscure it. They prefer to say it's a combination of many things, different chemicals and biological make-up (eugenics, spiritual or otherwise) and they throw in some mist to make it all appealing.
Suffice it to say that the idea of the unitary soul or sacredness of the individual, each one being a unique image of God, which is something we can know, is not something they like... Or one could look at it a completely different way and ask: "where do ideas come from?" This is where things get tricky and where metaphysics becomes essential. Re-wind to Plato's many dialogues or something like Leibniz' "Discourse on Metaphysics." With a solid foundation, it becomes somewhat easier to smoke the bad guys out because they are very hostile to certain ideas, but one wouldn't know it unless they know what to look for and which doors to open.
One sleight of hand comes in by simply emphasizing a spiritual "experience," something that "feels" good and right. But as I think we've all come to know at one point or another, just because something feels good or feels right, it doesn't mean it's the real thing. Throw in a guru and "groups" and people will start to think it's the real thing. Especially when we're dealing with some of the higher level spiritual warfare stuff, it becomes important to pull the veil away completely.
Naturally, this involves many rabbit holes which definitely keeps one busy!
I have plenty more to say, but I'll be coming out with some notes on The Island which will cover more on the subject. Suffice it to say that the higher one climbs, the thicker the mist becomes. The mysteries don't go away; they only become clearer.
If one gets caught up with the bad guys' variety of mysticism, the goal is to keep one in a comfortable middle ground where one "feels" they've transcended and they don't really have to confront certain real mysteries, as long as they "feel" good. And it's a subjective experience anyways, right? So who are we then to question whether something is the real thing or not?
I was re-reading The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and it makes a similar point. The Scarecrow thinks only the Wizard can provide him with a brain. Toto reveals the Wizard as a humbug whose magic consists of trickery. Yet even after the revelation the Scarecrow begs the Wizard for a brain. The Wizard gives him a brain made of bran and needles. Afterwards the Scarecrow believes in his own intelligence. It's an interesting commentary on the role of teachers.

At least it assisted in understanding that concept to me, particularly in light of Vernadsky’s discovery and proof on the NOOSPHERE, as opposed to the hoaxster and Jesuit Priest Telhard de Chardin; who is given credit and popularized today amongst the new age mysticism crowd.
